Did you know that you have free access to QAD product experts 24/7? You’ll find them on the QAD Learning Portal where there are more than 30 online courses on QAD products and manufacturing concepts presented by QAD instructors, developers, business analysts and other industry experts.
On the QAD Learning Portal, you can:
- Learn QAD MFG/PRO basics from APICS instructor and manufacturing consultant Lee Kirkpatrick in the following courses: QAD MFG/PRO Quick Start; Inventory Management Concepts and Practices; Material Requirements Planning: The Basics; Processing Work Orders and Processing Sales Orders in QAD MFG/PRO; plus a series of short courses on Understanding QAD MFG/PRO Setup and more.
- Get in-depth training on QAD products from those who helped develop them—QAD product managers, business analysts, support consultants, product architects and software engineers. Courses include: QAD Financials; QAD Customer Self Service; QAD MFG/PRO Kanban; QAD QXtend; Flow Scheduling; and Global Requisition System.
- Hear outside manufacturing consultants, authors and educators share their knowledge about manufacturing concepts in such courses as: Procurement in the New World of Manufacturing presented by Bob Stahl; Lean Manufacturing Concepts by Chris Gray; and Master Scheduling Concepts by John Dougherty.
These self-paced courses are organized into lessons and topics, making it easy to pause and resume courses as time allows until completion.
Ready to get started? Here’s how in two simple steps:
- Go to the QAD Learning Portal: http://learningportal.qad.com/home/
- Take the Intro Tour. The Intro Tour explains everything you need to know to begin taking courses. The tour is organized into five short segments totaling approximately 10 minutes. Learn how to log on (and how to get a QAD Web account if you don’t already have one), register for a course, work through a course, take exams and view your progress. The tour is quick, informative and highly recommended.

What is your reaction, when you hear the word “survey?” So often we associate a survey with negative consequences, such as: It will take too long; it will distract me from important work; no one is going to take my input seriously; it is not worth my time.
We understand these sentiments. As we researched methods to obtain your valuable feedback, we made an effort to eliminate these aggravations for you. For example, we created a quick five-question survey that takes less than two minutes to complete. And you can be assured we do take every survey seriously and put plans in place for those areas that need improvement.
The QAD Support automated customer survey process sends a brief survey to you, on closure and resolution of each incident. The survey is available in multiple languages including Chinese (Traditional and Simplified), Dutch, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish and Turkish— in an effort to ensure we receive all-inclusive feedback from around the globe.
So the next time you receive a survey from QAD Support, please remember it is worth your time. And we do appreciate it.

How to Participate in the QAD Support Survey Process
All you need to do is update your Web account options. Follow these simple steps to begin receiving the surveys. You will not receive more than one survey every 30 days.
- Go to http://support.qad.com/resources/accounts.html
- Select the Update Your Registration link to the left of the page
- Sign in
- Go to the bottom of the page and select "participate in periodic e-mail surveys from QAD Global Customer Support"
- Click the Submit button
