Performance Made Mutually Rewarding:
Announcing the QAD Global Reference Program
Our customers fuel our mutual success through participation in user groups, customer advisory groups, early adopter programs and joint application development. Many have also given up valuable time for customer reference activities such as phone calls, site visits and media opportunities.
We very much appreciate and value the positive comments you make to others about our solutions. Your voice is important—our reputation rests in your hands. Your vision and drive are vital elements of the QAD story.
To expand the availability and quality of reference opportunities—and to consistently reward your efforts on our behalf—QAD has launched a formal, structured customer reference program: the QAD Global Reference Program. We invite you to consider becoming a part of this exciting program.
What’s in it for you?
Prestige. Being involved with reference activities positions you as an industry leader.
The QAD Global Reference Program is an opportunity to:
- Showcase your accomplishments
- Capitalize on your success
- Demonstrate your leadership
Of course, there are benefits to your organization, including:
- Good publicity. It shows your customers, prospects and peers that you are a progressive company, always looking for ways to better run your business and to serve your customers.
- It positions you and your team as QAD experts, recognizing your success, the knowledge and skills you have gained, and the efforts you’ve made.
- It builds on our existing relationship and provides us with another vehicle for bringing our two organizations closer together.
As a part of the QAD Global Reference Program you will also have the opportunity to earn points for reference activities you fulfill. By participating in reference activities which you choose, you can accumulate points that can be redeemed for QAD rewards, such as training or QAD event fees.
What do you have to do?
The QAD Global Reference Program is designed to make the best use of everyone's time in the reference process. The QAD team manages internal QAD reference requests to ensure that your expectations and boundaries on reference activities are honored. You don’t have to worry about getting random requests, too many requests or inappropriate requests.
You can choose from a variety of sales and marketing activities, such as:
- Roundtables: Participate in QAD-moderated conference calls with a number of QAD prospects.
- Referrals: Earn points by recommending industry peers who would benefit from working with QAD.
- One-to-one calls and site visits: Participate in QAD-managed, by-request phone conversations with QAD prospects or host a prospect at your facility.
- Media opportunities: Let us publicize your story with press releases, media interviews, by-line articles and more.
- Success stories and video testimonials: Do an interview with QAD for publication as a printed piece or production of a video profile.
- Speaking opportunities: Present at events such as QAD Explore, QAD Global Webinars or industry events.
How are QAD customers participating?
In addition to taking reference calls or hosting site visits, QAD reference customers have been busy working with us to create case studies, give media interviews, launch press releases and more. These stories are about more than successful QAD implementations and services engagements. They also highlight creative, visionary leadership at these companies, from the shop floor to the boardroom:
- Vita-Tech, a manufacturer of neutraceuticals and a joint customer with QAD partner SIG, will have their success story featured in APICS Magazine this spring. Look for a case study on www.qad.com this summer.
- MBT Magazine features George Molchan, CIO of automotive supplier Freudenberg in its cover story in May 2007 issue. Freudenberg also invited QAD to visit one of their CORTECO operations for an in-depth tour and several days of presentations and testimonials from the plant’s QAD users. We’ll be unveiling a short film telling the Freudenberg/CORTECO success story at QAD Explore 2007. Look for a case study on www.qad.com this summer.
- Also at QAD Explore you can hear Todd Rumsey, CIO of Laird Technologies, tell the story of how his company is using QAD enterprise applications to not only execute his company’s global growth strategy and integrate the global enterprise on one ERP platform, but also to integrate the cultures of Laird’s acquired companies. Look for this session on the QAD Explore agenda: 10 Sites, 9 Countries, 6 People, 1 Year; How Laird Technologies is Conquering New Frontiers with QAD. Look for a case study on www.qad.com this summer.
- QAD and our customers celebrated many successes in the past year—and several of those customers received publicity by doing press releases with us. Several of our customers will be honored at QAD Explore.
- Our customers are excited about participating in case studies—visit www.qad.com and search by industry. More success stories are being added all the time.
How can you get involved?
There is no obligation to become or remain a member of this exclusive club. You can leave whenever you want, or even decline requests when your workload doesn’t allow. We make it simple because we value our relationship with you and we want to look after you as best we can.
Joining is easy: Just contact your QAD account representative, write to the GRP team at references@qad.com or fill out the nomination form.
You can meet the QAD GRP team and network with QAD reference customers at QAD Explore, May 20 – 23 in Grapevine, Texas http://explore.qad.com.
We appreciate the time and effort you contribute on behalf of QAD. By participating in the QAD Global Reference Program, you give us the opportunity to show our appreciation in meaningful ways that benefit you and your organization.
